Hello all,
The Helium Room has now expanded. It is now a place you can check out music videos and pieces of journalism made by yours truly. At the moment it is looping several music videos, live vids etc but it will soon operate with about an hours worth of footage including a short film, fun journo features and ads.
More info soon but for now get over to www.mogulus.com/theheliumroom

Goodnight, Sweet Prince
As of this morning I was made aware by the guitarist of Sad Shields that they are going on hiatus. As much as this doesn't come as a shock, I do hope they resolve whatevers going on and atleast record an album (I've been waiting for a version of 'Asimov' for too long to give up now).
If you have never heard of Sad Shields you can go here http://matthewclarke.wordpress.com/2008/05/02/notes-from-the-underground-an-introspective-on-sad-shields/
If you have heard of Sad Shields you should go here www.myspace.com/sadshields and pay your respects...

Pleased To Meet You
Hello and welcome,
My name is Matthew Clarke. I have been writing and talking about music more than I should thus The Helium Room has been created. I will be (hopefully) updating it as frequently as possible in the form of mp3's, videos and the occasional word of wisdom.
I leave you with a video I found for a Robert Johnson song called Me And The Devil Blues by a Dutch artist named Ineke Goes. Its ridiculously good and I hope you'll think the same
Anyway, this is me for now so take it easy, keep it sleazy
M
